I love my dubs and last 2 cars have been a 6n and and Mk 3 Golf, both of which were excellent cars with decent performance and easy to maintain and repair.

However am now thinking of getting something a bit more sporty and as I can't afford a GTO am going to have a look at a Celica. Anyone any experience with these and are they any good?

my mate had a (92' i think) GT4, stuff kept breaking though.

plenty quick enough, 230ish Bhp iirc, handled well and uber fun in the wet :)
