loving it mate :D

but why the wee sick face instead of a massive cheeser? lol

Andy

Cos he has to drive round at low RPM to run the charger in and he wants to press the go pedal and give it some beans but he can't.... so feels a little sick about it.

I feel for him!!

Nice raddo. Whats the G60 go like for you?? I have heard conflicting reports on them.

140 miles to go until i can open it up past 3750rpm....

Ohhh, I remember that feeling :nod:

How is 60 life?

Comfy, solid, handles well even on 18 year old standard suspension. It's got the electric recaro's aswell.

It's quite fast, or fast enough for the type of car that it is - depends on what you're use to and where you will use it i guess - though as above i've been very strict with the charger. They sound lovely 8-)

Looks well on those wheels, what are they?

nice rado that.....I've not long brought 1 (not a g60 though) and i couldnt be happier with it!!!

i couldnt help noticing *sp* the last but 1 picture.....how come you cant see the exhaust? it hidden or somthing?

  • Author

Yes, the exhaust is something that needs addressing. I suppose you could call it hidden...... completely.

The wheels are OZ something... they say oz racing f1 on them i think...

how old are you.....if you dont mind me asking? just wandering what the insurance is like on a g60?

also....do you know what insurance group they are?

  • Author

I'm 18 :| Owned the car since '05 which helps bring it down, think they're group 17...

what power is it running matey?

like g60s and love corrados, not sure owning one is feesable for me financially atm which is a shame coz insurance is gettin reasonable on them now!

you sure? mine is insurance group 17.....thats just a 1.8 (not a g60)

  • Author

Is it the 16v, or just an 8v? Can't see an 8v being group 17 though?

Looks good.

Still got the Golf?

Nice :shock:

Nice motor

Corrado insurance groups:

8v = 15

16v = 16

G60 = 17

VR6 = 18

Well after smelling fuel last night....

Todays job was to change the 18 year old engine fuel lines, which VW thought were best located about 4 inches about the exhaust manifold.

So i popped into pressure lines in plymouth (recommended if you're in plymouth :? ) and got a couple of meters of pipe/clips. They're all now nice and fresh. Also fixed a couple of boost/air leaks i found while i was at it.

16v.....cant believe a g60 is only 1 insurance group higher :-( wanna sell mine now and get a G lol

aah nice one rich. change the rims and slam it. will be rude, looks mint paint wise in the pics...

  • Author

cheers,

The paints actually pretty bad, but ok from a distance. I'm quite keen on the rims, but if something nicer in 16/17 comes up i would do. Won't be getting slammed though, 30-40mm down with some good quality springs/shocks i think.

95 miles to go 8-)
