yhh agree with above! i run 165 on my 7.5 so much more tuck

potenza's look awsome as well....you'll be able to go all the way to the bottom of the coils on the fronts and as far as you want on the back. I did that and it never scrubbed, even with 4 people in the car!! this is 15x7's et25 btw. Might be a good idea to notch the drivers side chassi leg as the drive shaft will knock against it!!

thanks for the advice guys but i'm not lowering the back more, the roads round my area are bad with potholes and also still got to fit the interior and spare wheel etc so that will add a little more weight, might consider something maybe after christmas with the arches so it can sit a bit better but until that i need to stay as it is

Looks mint mate i love this car, also was it easy to redo the door handle to fit the 6n2 door cards as i have a set waiting to go in my 5door whore

i found it was quite easy and saved alot of hassle bu fitting the hook from the door to the handle from a mk5 so its just about origional

was talking to my friend from vw today and he's kindly offered to come and fit a new dash and loom when i can get on, what something different with the dash but still thinking about this

well this should be here on monday, trying to think of anything i can do to be a little bit different, just need the clocks

when i think i'm finished i just keep adding more and more to the list

i had thought about full black with small white stiching, i already bought the gti seats so they are being retrimed along with the door cards, door cards will be away in the next few weeks to be done

the baseball stitching does look quite nice though

update

got the new dash on monday, had to put a new handle on the glove box but thats all, there are a few tiny scratches on the plastic so think i will just be smoothing off the full dash to get rif of the texture look, on the look out for a loom and clocks so if anyone knows where i could get one let me know

i kind of unsure about black with white stitching now i keep thinking about it, i just want them all red

anyway few new pics, stripped the dash this morning to start smoothing it, spend a good 2 hours smoothing off the texture on the top half of the dash and if just wasnt getting as smooth as i wanted till i buffed through a bit on the edge and it started to peal so i relised i could do this

pealed off all the texture and found it was alot smoother underneath but still rough so started to smooth that, didnt get much done by the end of the day but its a start, think i will be smoothing over the passenger side airbag line as theres no airbag there and probably remove the airbag badge on it

people keep saying paint the dash white with a black center console but i think a white dash will be ott with the car

oh god dont do it white will be awful to look at while driving!

i have retrimmed dashes in white before for customers and they have said you get a lot of glare off the windscreen, sometimes thats all you can see!!!!!

m8 I have a question for you. Can you please tell me what sort of modding you must do to the wiring in order to get the dashboard of the mk5 fully working. How will the tachometer of the mk5 will be connected?
