thanks don

little update

today was the day i was dreading, its MOT, after lying for 2 years in the garage i though something must have corroded or perished but it passed with flying colours and just one advisory for a part worn bush which is more than acceptable for the car

took some precaution on the way to verve

Congrats on the MOT fella.. Can't really add to all the praise your hard work has received to date. All I will say.. TOP JOB :)

Just read this thread from start to finish lol.

Absolutely amazing work mate, looks stunning!

So this gunnna be your daily then

nice work mate is a complete 1 off and is amazzing

  • Author

thanks guys

haha i wish it was a daily but just with the bad roads up here i wouldn't want to damage it

i'm only using it up until after players then its being stripped down for a bit of a shock

looks amzing mate, although the front end needs something,

the lights look to clear if you get me? [possibly GTI lights will look better?]

and the lights and bonnet dont seem flush.. maybe have the bonnet extended a little?

I give you full rights to tell me to f*ck off for being to picky

 nono its ok

the bonnet is lined up to the factory measurements and yes the front end is having a freshen up after players

i don't have the money just now to get the gti xenons as they are coming in at nearly £500 for the pair :(

Got big respect for this mate and all the hard work you put in, it looks awsome !!

  • Author

yeah should be at edition, just to sort insurance out :)

nice one mate, I'm dyin to see it in the metal :p

keep up the good work fella !!

regardless of what car it was, and what car it is now...you've done some seriously impressive work there.

10/10 based on craftsmanship

thanks guys :)

with the run up to e38 and with us being on a weeks holiday i'm going in to do the final touches so back in the booth it went

today i rubbed down the spare wheel well and gave it a fresh coat of white to match the car as it had a slight mist of red still in the well

took absolutely ages to mask up the whole interior then mask up the outside of the car :scared:

then noticed a few marks on the spare wheel so while it was out gave it all a rub down and fixed all the chips and scuffs then gave it a new coat of black and some tyre shine so it looks like new

still got a few bits i want to do for e38 and hopefully get them done this weekend then we can make the 300odd mile trip to northampton 8-)

I just love this car so much, but it does make me want to cry a little bit!
