well lets do another update

this has been in the car for a while but just haven't got round to finishing it

first off

AirLift 4-way Fully digital autopilot system

2 480c compressors

5 gallon air tank

4 digital valves

airlift ECU

water trap

each individual corner can be controlled separately, along with 3 pre set setting, all down, ride height and all up

and its also programmed to fully drop the full car when you take the keys out and when you turn the ignition on it will raise itself to a pre set height

decided not to do a full on show sort of install because i still want use of my boot so with the floor raised and false floor fitted i still have use of almost the full boot

the setup all attached to a base to be bolted into the spare wheel well

control unit

after ordering this I found out airlift don't make bags for a polo, in fact alot of companies didn't make bags for a 6n polo. so on the phone to bagyard in austria who made a custom set of supremes for a 6n from blisten struts and finished in Lexus pearl red

and also my little home made plaque

now we just need to fit the bags and set it up

yeaaaah boyyy. I feel its ok to say this now, but always felt this wasn't sat as well as it could be to justify the amazing work done on the rest of it.

On its belly with perfect polished 5 spokes juuuust tucking... Well, well its just beyond sick. haha

tbh i agree with you, never got it to sit the way I wanted it to because whenever its used its always carrying 3 people so even with the arches trimmed back the wheels would rub on the inner arches quite badly

make me a bumper please? :( PLEASEEEE!! aha

You can see it in march at UD once the body work and paint are finished its going away till then

ok wee accident, i bent my arch :( badly because I was impatient and wanted to see the new wheels fitted when the car full dropped

good side tho is the fitment is near enough bang on, fill the arches nicely

all ready for a huge strip down and rebuild at the end of the month and then you'll see it at UD12

nobody knew what wheels I picked so can't say what the dish it like, nobody said they were polished or painted and the tyres are far from balloons

And there is a pic of a polished wheel on the previous page that you said had just come from mike the polisher. Be stupid to have it polished then painted after.

Wheel could be the same just painted as the dish looks similar and there's no way of telling what tyres there are. :-D

no no no the guy that does the wheels is called mike the polisher, he also does painting, powdercoating, chrome and gold plating. no point did i say i got my wheels polished I shan't disappoint
