Kreg 1.0L 4Speed Squareback polo ‘Genesis’

re-sprayed in matt military green to complete the ‘Ex military’ look!

Being a Genesis it has the nice interior, with The GT steering wheel and GT dash clocks with rev counter.

Just turned 80K (cambelt & discs/pads replaced at 66740)

New clutch 6K ago

New Waterpump 1K ago

good tires all round (one brand new)

Working original metal sunroof,

excelent body - never welded (and doesent need it)

1 owner before me and he always took it to VW Spirit (so up until 3/3/07 it is full Volkswagen main dealer service history)

Major service 2weeks ago:

Oil & filter

Break fluid change (and new reservoir cap (old was split))

New fuel tank

New OSF tire

New OSF lower wishbone joint

New exhaust (cat back-mid and back box)

New rear break flexs

MOT – March 2010

Tax – 30/06/09

Things added:

Blaupunkt CD Player – Alpine dash speakers – Sony 6x9 on parcel shelf

Military fire extinguisher mounted to dash

Military torch mounted on passengers door pillar

Genuine German camo net in back (I use it as a seat cover or to cover up my drums when I carry them around – it also covers the 6x9s on the parcel shelf so no one is tempted to pike them!)

3 arials on roof (do nothing, all for show!)

The tire pressures are stencilled above each wheel in the typical ‘fleet’ custom… (as well as ‘unleaded’ in German above the fuel filler flap.)

Green army man leading the way on the bonnet,

Fleet number on roof.

Flower holder on side of dash,

klaxon horn – wired to separate button, labelled ‘Achtung’ (so still has original horn on steering wheel)

Comes with British & German plates – the rozzers in Stratford didn’t like them…

German number plate surounds from 'haberbosch zellingen'
