Hmm, can't help thinking you would've been a bit better off doing more with lower grades to get those scratches out, but if you're happy, thats all that matters! Looking tasty though bud. Red will really set them off I recon! Good work :smirk:

Good stuff! To be honest if it's gunna be a daily you don't want them absolutely pristine mirror finish or you'll be polishing them up every 5 mins and worrying about every little mark! Looking forward to seeing them on the car tho! 8-)

what grade did you get to?

alex

thats only to 120 grit.

need to go buy some 320 grit for the next lot of polishing :-D

looking shiny shiny! is it hard work or pretty simples?

looking good alex, i say get some polishing mops now some mid and fine mops and compound ;) that is much easier than polishing with wet and dry i think :-)

A mop + G3 will bring them up like mirrors

BUMP.

Just went outside with my 2000 wetndry and some of the grit got onto my sandpaper even though i was constantly un-clogging it, and scratched my wheel, i managed to get it most out them out, but it frightens me cause i dont want to do it again.

is this normal:

Yeah I Am Retarded

But Thanks For The Help, Appreciated.

Is there a reason you write like a retard?

If you honestly can't muster up the strength to scrape anything more than senseless, blank, hurtful dribble that is as constructive as building a house from the roof down from the insides of what I'm guessing you call a mind- Just f**k off.

In response to the scraping, when using anything more than P800 it's best you use the wet sanding method, should slow down/stop the clogging up  Try Autosol'ing it up again mate

tried sanding it more

and its just:

just went out again and tried to sand it up, but still, i keep getting these black scratches come up

95% chance I'm going to give up.
