Got rid of my polo about a year ago for this, so i thought it was about time i put a couple of pics in here! It's a mk5 GT with the 1.4 170ps tsi engine.

Here's how it looked when i first got it:

It stayed standard for a while but now i've got a bit of money saved up i've started doing a few mods. First i fitted a forge induction kit:

Then i got some FK coilovers and had them fitted:

The stance still needs sorting out properly, I've lowered the front a bit more but i think it could still do with going down further, I'm happy with it for now though!

I've got plenty of plans for it, i've got a new anti-roll bar kit to fit, looking at getting a new milltek exhaust, forge fmic and possibly a remap, colour coded front and rear valances, light tints on the rear windows, de-badged/wipered at the back, some decent brakes and maybe some nice summer wheels. Also a few little interior touches, gti wheel, handbrake and maybe re-trimmed seats :-) any comments welcome.

They're quite good, fun to drive, decent mileage too. The acceleration is pretty fast and the handling is good now I've lowered it a bit, although there's plenty of other small cars now that are just as fast :( lol

I have the 140 GT TDI, I wanna know is the TSI as torquey in it's drive????

Facelift front end is always good in my book!!!

Looks very niice, even better lowered too, tbh I've never seen one in the flesh lowered.... Are the forged induction kits exspensive?

My Dad has the same as you, i had a go in it at the weekend. The tsi feels a bit faster at lower revs, but the tdi is better on the motorway, keeps pulling even in sixth!

Not updated this for a long time! I'm currently buying a house with my gf, so my cars just getting me to and from work at the minute, and slowly being shaken to bits on the bumpy roads lol.
