G60 Steels - 15x6 Et38 4x100

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just bought some new wheels for my Corrado, off to fetch them tomorrow, so I've no need for my G60 steelies anymore.

I got them brand new back in November last year, and since then I estimate they've done around 4000 miles.

There is no curb damage and no other marks to speak of. I was lucky when the snow came as the Corrado did what they do best and broke, meaning I had to borrow a car from work to get around for that week of bad weather!

The wheels come with 4 matching Michelin Pilot Exalto tyres, in 195/50R15. Two tyres were brand new in November and the other two have roughly 4mm of tread on. Basically plenty to be going on with! These are the best tyres I have ever used, without a doubt.

The wheels come with the genuine VW black plastic centrecaps and 16 genuine VW black plastic wheelbolt covers.

Bear in mind the wheels were nearly £200 new and the tyres were £70 each, plus £25 for the centre caps.

Asking price is £250, collected only from Derbyshire DE56.

Here's a pic, will get more tomorrow of the tread depth and condition of the rims.

Please get in touch if you're interested.

Thanks

Tom

no offence intended, but:

Brand New G60 steels

£140 new, and that guy always lists them, sells the centre caps too

Appreciate the comment, but he's listing them for £140, plus £19.50 postage, plus £22 for the centre caps, which in my reckoning makes £181.50.

Then you've got to get the tyres fitted and balanced which even at cheapy rates is gonna be another £20, maybe more.

Then factor in the 4 very good condition Michelin tyres on my wheels and I don't think the price of mine is so bad after all, no offence intended.

However I am open to offers on these.
