Wheres the Ground to ?

On a bolt behind the left brake light, the wire that connects to the amp isn't revealing too much wire.. so i think that's the problem. I need to strip the wire.

Might sound wierd but bolt the earth wire to the back of the rear bench, if you go into the boot your'll see 2 bolts (allan key heads) which hold the rear benches down to the body work. Undo a bold hook the earth wire over the bolt and screw it down works really well . also might be a good idea to strip the wire down and properly reconect it to the spad, this is what i had to do today

Try using rear seatbelt mounting points.

Mine is in a bolt behind left rear light and is totally fine, but will be moving to seatbelt mouting points when my new equipment goes in.

So i will strip the wire and that will make the sub work?

Yea strip it down a little at the end I'm sure you got the Spades which the wire is clamped to, this helps if your wire is currently riped

Just sorted the ground out, and the sub still isn't working. Even not working when i change it from channel 3 and 4 to 1 and 2. :S Don't know what next

it wouldnt be a bad ground if the 6x9s are working else they would cut out too, try changing the phonos over on the headunit from the 6x9's to the sub and visa versa, then check that the 6x9s are working still, this will tell you if the wire is broken as the ones for the sub may be damaged or you may have even blown the output on your headunit.

Sorry mate, the sub box connectors was messed up. I found the problem out by connecting the old sub to the amp without using the sub box connections.

LOL. we said it could be the connections in the sub box at the start
