no one knows? :)

There was a question about this a while back, unfortunatly it's between the outerskin and the inner pannels (not the easy to remove ones but the steel structure) you will need to take the rear wheel arch trim off and look up with a torch to get a look. Even then it may just be bonded in place.

Why did they make it so difficult :? it's only a petrol cap :lol:

thanks depresion lol no wonder i couldnt just rag it off then just had a look you have to remove the filler neck by the looks of it because the fuel catch thing by the filler hole is attached to the neck thus being in the way aaarrggh :retard:

I have done it on my 6N2. You needs a special tool that VW workshops have. I borrowed it from them an did the job. It was the first time the tool had been jused! They just jused to pull them off, so it was damaged, and just put on a new one..
