Jenson button 1st barrichelo 2nd and Hamilton 3rd

It started 10mins after i left for springfest and didnt see the highlights as i was shattered when i got home :-(

mmm scalextric... no thanks

i got up at 6, watched the F1 then drove up to springfest. commitment

Yeah it was a decent race.

Glad to see two Brits doing well.

The start was interesting, namely Barrichelo and Webber.

I always find Albert Park isn't the most interesting of tracks, despite it being a street circuit.

your loss, was a fantastic race. 8-)

its was a good one. fairy tale ending for braun as well

Hamilton the cheat!! :disgust:

yeah, not the best way to behave after the race was it?

idiot!

Lieing to the stewards, disqualified from the race. Apparantly mclaren could be disqualified for the rest of the season

i hate that fucking cl_lnt hamilton with a passion!

I'm with you on that one! He's not so cocky now he might get kicked out for the season!!

almost in tears at press conference

mwahahahahahahahahahaha :badgrin::badgrin::badgrin::roll:

he was only doing what his boss told him to do, love to know what you lot would of done in his position, i'm not saying what he did was right, but i'm not sure i would of done any different if i was him. after all not only was he his boss but he had over 30 years experience in F1 as well. any one that has experience of trying to keep a job should know you do what your boss says.

and yes he was nearly in tears he's been fucked over by some one he trusted and left high and dry and now his career is on the line. fucking gutted for the lad.

Could someone tell me what Hamilton did?

I don't know the story, it's all so vague.

Well from what i've read in the paper is that, Hamilton was 3rd and trulli was 4th, they were driving under the yellow flag, hence no overtaking. Trulli ran off the track (i think) and Hamilton obviously overtook him as you would, but he wasn't sure whether that was the right thing to do. He then got advised over the team radio to let trulli back in front of him so he did, so the race finished with hamilton 4th, trulli 3rd. After the race the stewards asked Hamilton whether the team told him to let trulli back into 3rd and Hamilton said NO, trulli got a 20 sec penalty (i think don't know what for) meaning Hamilton got promoted to 3rd. It was only after the stewards looked over the team radio conversation that they found out the mclaren team DID tell Hamilton to let trulli gain back 3rd, therefore finding out that Hamilton had lied to them.

Think thats the basic jist of it :?

EDIT: Mclovin, from what i've heard and read it was Hamilton who lied to the stewards right after the race, even before he spoke to his boss so i think it was Hamiltons fault really.

i'm just going off what i heard on the news plus it would make sense as to why his boss has been sacked (or suspended can't remember which it was?). i'm sure the truth will come out soon enough either way tho. just seems such a shame after the effort he put into finishing well in a car he was really struggling with.

slightly off topic but what is it with our society that makes us hate to see our fellow countrymen (and women) do so well? even if it turns out he did cheat, so what? no matter how many times Schumacer (sp) cheated he was still a national hero in Germany, as soon as one of our own does some thing wrong people can't wait to start bashing them. it just seems that some times its a crime to succeed here, no wonder our national football team fail so often, there probably scared of the backlash of hate if they did actually won some thing

the boss has taken the wrap for him, which is hardly suprising as they managed to get glock to throw the championship last year!

cant stand these cheating bastards!

well i like hamilton was gutted he didnt win title in first year, and sat on the edge of my seat last year when he won it on the last corner, hasent covered himself in glory this year so far but what an amazing talent, best possible start to this season if your a nuteral, with none of the big teams winning...tell you one thing though i dont think my mind would be 100% on my work if my misses was a pussycat doll

His missus looks like a ladyboy IMO.
