Last year Mclaren received little or no acknowledgment for winning the championship, was all shadowed by everyone bumming Hamilton; how the tables have turned!

I'd actually disagree with you there. Hamilton did a bloody incredible job getting up to 4th (no matter what happened after the race, he fairly and justly fought his way to 4th position) and in my opinion he should be very well respected for that. I just want to get on with it and enjoy the rest of the championship! Sunday's race was absolutely AWESOME before the rain kicked in - I've never seen so much overtaking before in my life! With alonso and glock overtaking eachother at almost every corner, 4 or 5 times in a row! I think also that the commentators and press need to start paying dues to Trulli; he's had an incredible drive the last 2 races, and yet we hardly ever hear his name until he's done something wrong!

I'm just waiting to see what the final decision by the FIA on the 14th April on these double decker diffusers that Brawn GP, Toyota & Williams are currently using. I think the fact that in these two races, only one car has managed a podium finish that didn't have this diffuser setup speaks volumes.

I have no idea what the outcome will be, either they'll decide the diffusers are illegal and those three teams will be penalised and god knows what'll happen for the rest of the season or they be found to be an acceptable interpretation of the rules and all the other teams will just have to go back to the drawing board and get their own similar setups although I think at least Ferrari have already said they'll struggle to do this before it's too late to do anything this season.

they should have all their points removed if found to be illegal, its only fair after the points stripping that hammilton seems to get.

I'm sure that 1/2 points has never been awarded? isnt it usually a case of more than half distance = full points awarded, less than half = no points?

I don't know the ruling on half points, but they have been awarded half points for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

they all got half points because the race was stopped before it reached the 3/4 point. If they'd managed to get in enough laps to have completed 3/4 of the race before the rain got too bad then full points would have been awarded. I don't think this is a particularly new rule, I remember it being talked about over the last few years but this is the first time I remember seeing a race where it's actually happened. The late start of the race was to blame partially too because by the time the rain eased off it was going dark and if they restarted the race it would have been too dark towards the end of it. I read today that they will go back to an earlier start next year which I personally think is better. The late start was yet another ecclestone money grabbing rather than racing fuck up.

Its all about themoney unfortunately and not about providing an exciting sport to watch.

I guess some people just don't find F1 entertaining.

The race on Sunday, when a monsoon wasn't stopping it, was very entertaining with some awesome overtaking battles.

I haven't seen racing like that in F1 for a long while. Long may it continue.

Hamilton may leave Mclaren, bad move if you ask me, he should stay there, moving won't help him at all. I hope that they get through all this trouble and he can just get on with racing. Apparently he could go to Ferrari he better not they don't need him His dad does my head in too Lewis is 23-24 now he can decide his own career path on his own. Fair enough he can add input but it seems he controls his decisions.

Ferrari do need him, Raikkonen and Massa haven't looked that brilliant this season.

Massa: 'I need the white visor! The white visor! Or else I can't see anything!' I like how he turned into Borat when he was rattled.

Raikkonen as well, I think he was a worthy champion, but he's a boring sod and has the wrong attitude if you ask me. Especially on Sunday, notice how he was in shorts and cap within five minutes of it being red flagged. Even though he was in last, you should finish what you start.

Hamilton should stay with McLaren I reckon.

what i meant by ferrari don't need him is that they don't need someone like him, I think he's a bit arrogant tbh. I'd much rather like him to stay at mclaren and get past it all and hopefully become like what he was last season. My favourite team is ferrari, favourite driver being Raikonnen, just don't think they need him. Massa and kimi are easily capable if they have a descent reliable car, they've proven that the last couple of years. Mclovin's right he will be hated if he moves.

Lewis Hamilton has already stated that he has no intention of leaving McLaren and that recent stories in papers that he is considering doing are just made up rumours. I don't think he'll leave and as a long-time McLaren fan I hope he doesn't.

I also agree that until it was stopped because of rain, last weekends race was a belter. I don't know how you can call that boring, I got bored of F1 in the early 2000s when it was just Schumacer winning everytime and nothing ever really seemed to happen in the races.

Well my favourite driver has always been Kimi especially when he drove for Mclaren so I guess I only like Ferarri because he moved there, tbh I wasn't that happy that he moved to Ferarri. United were relativly bad last night but it'll be 2-1 next week to united ofcourse
