insurance quote

Featured Replies

been searching round for decent insurance quote for a while now,

cheapest i could find was £1350 from kwik fit, but that was without anything like windscreen cover, breakdown, legal protection etc,

next was £1600 from churchill, did offer all the above but then quoted me £3100 just to change the wheels! so that was a no.

saw on here about brentacre, so gave them a ring, bearing in mind I'm 20 have made a claim, have got a claim against me, have a conviction of driving without due care and attention and recently came out of a 2 year driving ban, they quoted me £1200 and gave me an 80bhp limit, told me as long as i dont exceed the 80bhp limit i can do whatever i want to the car without increasing my premium!

that was for fully comp aswell!

i couldnt beleive it when they told me that, i was expecting something stupid like £2000 +

got my quote saved for the next 6 weeks so got chance to finalize everything else first

hi mate ill be 17 at the begining of june and doing an intensive driving course which takes 5 days then my test, so hopefully if all goes well i will pass by the middle on June latest, I'm thinking of buying a 1.6 Mk4 5 door 1995/N reg, if i used Brentacre would my insurance be low? or is it best to try everywhere first?

Best getting as many quotes as you can... Brentacre only insure 19+ iirc I may be wrong though

Yes matey :p brings it down a good price :p

I have 2 years no clames on a moped ( sad i know) and direct line will only take 1 year ncb but if i had 1 year they wont take any.

but it has brought it down £600.

Not all companys let you use a bike ncb so don't bank on anythink.
