My G40

Featured Replies

As many of you may know i have owned the Red G below for a good 3-4yrs.

Its had the following mods.

1341cc Bottom End

1341cc High Lift Schrick Cam

Full Blend Charger

Front Mounted Intercooler

GT Inlet

51mm Ported Throttle Body

PSD Toothies

4 Branch PSD Manifold

PPP 63mm Full system

Methanol Aquamist Water Injection

Custom PPP ECU Map

250cc Injectors

PPP Stage 3 Subframe

Half Colour Coded Bumpers

ATS Classics

Spax PSX Damper Adjustable 60mm Suspension

Fog Lights

Badgeless Grille

The car was rolling roaded at the Clubpolo Rolling road day and made 167bhp without Aquamist so 170bhp ish now.

The sad thing is that over the past couple of weeks the car has been slowly killed off as the shell was rotting and rust was appearing in several places so when another G40 shell came up for sale which recently had £1k's worth of respray i bought it and then transfered all the stuff from the Red G to the new Grey G.

The Red shell is pretty grotty so its going to be scrapped in a weeks time. Shame but its served its purpose very well!

Here are some pics!

yeah pretty much every evening in the garage after work! from start to finish it took just over 2weeks so not bad going

keeping the arches off as the paintwork is mint so might as well show off the arches! plus the arches have been properly rolled so i haven't got anywhere to mount the arches back on.

looks like a MILLION dollars :)

Proper good work gone on there, fair play  Love it :smirk:

Sweet, wondered why you were breaking the red one, glad you are sticking with the G40, you'll have to bring it to a cheshire dubs meet (keep an eye on www.cheshiredubs.co.uk ) :D

I thought you'd lost the plot too when i saw the bits you were selling!

Looks well nice.

always liked you are red one only red mk3 i think that suited the half C/C bumpers, was a nice G. :-(
