Hi, i have just tried out a new garage for fitting 4 new APEX lowering spring, charged for 120 pounds, is it a fair price?

P.S. the new spring improved car handling a bit, specially when go around roundabout, the butt looks much better than before :-D

seems fair pal when i put springs on last one garage charged 150 but that was with the sprongs bought with them,

£120 for the springs and fitting or just for the fitting?

Seems like a good price to me! cheap enough to be good value but expensive enough for them to be doing a proper job if that makes sense

£30 an hour average rate, its not a 1 hour per spring job!

My mate got charged 90quid last week to get his fitted,

Id nevva pay that much, id rather try doing it myself like, but seems like a fairish sorta price

Midland VW charge like £50 an hour and wouldnt take more than 2 hours to fit them unless there was a random problem on the car..

Garages fit new shocks and stuff all the time, springs are no different..

I got told its £25 a corner
