?

leads/dizzy cap/rotor arm/coil...

Have u checked/replaced any of those?

Yeah, sounds like a mis fire.

change all the items martin mentioned. if it's still happening you may need to have your timing adjusted.

tried the fuel filter?

any leaks on the inlet manifold?

check the leads even if they are new. polos seem to be very picky when it comes to leads. stick a multi meter on them on the ohms setting check they all give the the same reading if not ones buggered.

is your earth connections ok? as that could feck everything up and is easily sorted especially the one at the lambda probe.

lamba probe?

where is the earth on that thought it was jus hard wired

an the hoist point nr the dizzy you will see about 2/3 earths joining there to a screw.

i'd be awayed to check the idle control valve if it runs rough without any throttle applied. I maybe wrong tho.

SPI's don't have an ISV...

thats the little black box on the front of the TB isnt it? thats adjustable on the throttle arm, theres a little screw on that you can adjust to change the idle.

Failing that try adjusting the TPS, thats the black panel on the side of the TB, all you need is to lossen the 4 screws and turn it back or fourth until the engine idles better.
