Well i have finally got my car how i want it, more or less anyway, and i thought id post up a thread on it from the start, i haven't posted many pics up of my car because i wanted to keep them all for this thread, so here it goes...

the car as standard when i got it

first mod was an ammo aeriel

then i got my pressed plates

and xenon sidelights, then had a little photoshoot

next up were these audi TT alloys, polished up

lol, tractor

desperately needed lowered, so i took them off and sold them until i got some coilovers

so after a few months i got a few other mods including HIDs, cubby box and probably some other little bits and bobs, but then i seen some VW bora wheels come up on ebay and couldnt resist, could just picture them on the car looking smart, so i bought them and got myself some new toyo T1R tyres to wrap them in

and on the rims

i put the bora rims on the car and thought they looked really nice, and standard looking, so kept them on until the coilovers were put on a few days later, i got myself some vmaxx coilovers.

and after coilovers were fitted, just wanted it down nicely while they settled in etc.

rear badges removed

and time for another photoshoot

now for a seat strut brace

i bought these to go on

and now for my favourite mod, i managed to pick this interior up from a fabia VRS special edition, only 1000 were made and each had their edition number printed in, and i got number 381, what a lucky man i am

lowered virtually right down on the coilovers, still not quite as low as i want it, but sits nice and is suprisingly comfortable, and great for gettng over speedbumps, woop. also got the dubway sticker on, well it just wouldnt be complete without would it.

the car now sits a few mill lower, because i have taken everything out the back suspension so its just the rear spring in, not safe i know, but i wanted it lower lol, and the fronts are on the last thread now.

its right down with everything out the rear set up except the springs, i want it a little lower though :( not sure exactly how much lower it is like

they came from a skoda fabia vrs, speciel edition leather, very rare seats to find buddy

cheers mate, they are pretty awkward, but its not like i have people in the back often, all i have to do it slide it forward and wind it too lol

cheers, yeah, and the cubby box too. i will update in the next few days, i have added 20mm spacers to the rear now

another small update, got some 20mm spacers on the back now, its soo close to the arches with people in, they just tuck in the arches nicely so still no rubbing at all even with a full car, woop

lookin sweet as fuck man, i wer about to say id get some spacers if i wer you. got to admit , i still like the MK 1-4 better tho but thats just me , i like older cars. still like yours tho :)

some realy nice work there mate, I'm gutted i didnt get a 3 dr instead of a 5 dr now lol. they look alot nicer. I'm still tryin to decide what rims to go for

heres some more recent pics of my car, not really any new mods other than re doing the pinstriping around the front, and also turned my vw badge upside down lols

oh i also made the front lower too, woop! had to take the full setup out the front and take the smaller helper spring out, i get knocking and other funky noises when turning at slow speeds, but doesnt bother me too much as it sits lush now, cant really tell by the pics though :(

should have another update next week though!

well, updates as promised, got the wheels back quicker than expected, took the old badges off the centres and bought some new blue/white ones, and painted the centres myself, got the wheels refurbed and powder coated chrome blue, i will let the pics do the talking.

i was actually thinking this ages ago, but dont know if it would look good or cheap, i was also gonna get my front lights sprayed a slight shade of blue

cheers, cost £180, that included taking the tyres off, refurbing, powdercoating, tyres back on and balanced, fair price IMO
