Just wondering what people have found is the best stuff to use, like polishing, waxing etc

i used meguiars step 2 polish then nano tech wax (turtle stuff) and this how it turned out

Basically, buy decent stuff Megs or AutoGlym and put some elbow grease into it while following instructions and being completely and utterly meticulous about every bit of dirt on the car. =]

I made the best of my car the other day before Elsecar by getting the autoglym paint renovator over every panel, then autoglym show shine polish, then megs speed detailer with a megs claybar followed by an autoglym aqua wax.

Then used some homebrew stuff for "back2blacking" the car and also gave the wheels a good clean out with autoglym custom wheel wash and then even claybarred the dishes haha.
