Hi my mums golf mk4 1.6 automatic front pads are waring, so wondering if mk4 polo pads will fit, as i bought a brand new set but never used them. Also if anyone could help do you know what the diameter on the mk4 1.6 brakes are? or where i can get this information

I would imagine that a Mk4 Golf 1.6 would use 256mm front brakes and all non-16v Mk4 Polos use 239mm so no they won't fit, but this is purely guesswork. I'd highly hope VW don't use 239s on a Mk4 Golf.
