i miss my old GT too much, i need another one in my life!

I'm just looking for anyone who might fancy a swap.

I have here, my helios blue mk2 golf pre 90's spec i believe. The car was originaly a 1.6 driver and was converted to a 1.8 16v (KR) by the previous owner who had the car for a number of years.

Engine wise, everything is standard except for the stainless intake pipe and custom maniflow mild steel exhaust.

The engine has just hit 160K and i got the car on 150K, Since i've owned the car it's had a new gearbox, clutch, discs and pads all round

On the exterior, you will find the jetta front end (Headlights, slam panel and grill. Golf front end included also), g60 arches, i've become a bit of a wheel whore too, there's a set of 16x7 compomotive TH mono's, a set of 16x7.5 Borbet A's with staggered offsets, a set of powertech type D's in 15x8/9 and a set of g60 steels. all with tyres. If anyone's interested, you can have a choice of wheel too! The car sits on hot tuning coilies, which i've had no problems with.

On the inside of the car, 300mm mountney classic wheel, grey corrado seats, front and rear with the hump. currently rocking PVC snake skin roof liner - this must go... rainbow trim doorcards. Also Happich green tint rear pop out windows.

okay well i got a pug 406 t reg 1.8 16v recent head and 16 new valves ect 12months mot in silver!

and got a

passat 1.8t est in marron red recent tyres,service disc and pads flexi on the exhaust 120k miles

any good family wagons

what is the car still logged as a 1.6 or 1.8 16v? may be interested in a part ex. got a helious blue mk2 coupe s polo with abd engine conversion on honda fxr bike carbs 1000cc.

The car is registered as a 1.8, doesnt seem to be specified as a 16v though!

The golf is having it's MOT today, the starter motor decided to pack up yesterday, so that's being replaced too.

Sorry to invade your thread Z2K, Cheers Dan one of the guys from No-Rice took that pic on the way to GTi Spring fest. Yeah I know i've generally just been keeping it really tidy, I got rid of all the gay stickers I put on & i've tidied up the back of it plus I dewipered it :-D . But i'm in to minds now wether to buy a shitty little runabout & really tidy the GT up & try to restore it or sell up & find another Dub? Yes dude that is the gf .
