I cant afford it this time, when it was £250 i only just missed it. i cant see how it warrants a 300% price increase within a few weeks, so i'll have to leave it.

he did origonaly ask £1500!!! after fixing the fuel leak....so bought it for 650 (bargin sort of) then changed the fuel leak....posted it up asking 850 more! but dropped the price to £999 now which is still abit steep. not in great nick but still a fast car though. id have it. a shame u never got it at £250 though would have gone to a decent owner lol. dont meen to slate my m8 like but he hates it.

thanks mg, all i did on sanding was, to use a pritty rough glass paper to take most of the paint off, then i got some fine paper to clean and smooth it up. make sure u have all the paint off and keep it clean....filled it out, had to try and keep it as smooth as i could when applying the filler.

then used a rough paper (because i didnt keep it smooth first time lol) the filler i used was from halfords. cost bout 8 quid i think lol was pritty decent stuff..

this came about of having to put back seats back in for the time beaing, but heres the effects of it lol with 3 people in lol

slammed innit mayte! lol

decided, while my mates were sorting out his mk3 golf id (and his temp 306TD 1.9) id give the polo a polish...

used some pink stuff that smells alot like battenburg!

can really see the difference with the roof and c pillar!

also sprayed the audi badge black and got some red tape for the bumper..

trick with the chopped springs drill 3 holes in the base where the springs sits and hold the spring in place with jubilee clips mot bloke by me suggested zip ties for my fiesta but i figured jubilee clips would be stronger i gave my mk1 fessie death and I'm still alive but i only took 1 coil out cos the 50/50 drop sat slightly higher at the front

What you doing with the AEE or did I not read it properly?

I'm now starting to think about flareing the arches...like this....cant find the post, was a mk2 salloon,

think for the time being I'm going to get some trim. by the time i do flare the arches i will have forgot lol.

erm...plans for the AEE is

polo 6n2 gti injectors,

custom mani to house them

5-speed cl gearbox

remap,

P+P head,

uprated cam,

upgrade crank, balence flywheel, clutch and crank together

think thats it anything i should change or not do carver???

ooh forgot, I'm also going to pollybush the whole car.

only thing stopping all this work is the green (well lack of atm) lol

Wouldnt worry too much about the bigger injectors mate, people have made around 100bhp on the standard ones and I think the restriction at that point is the plastic inlet.

The GT stuff is best to use and if your getting a custom manifold for the gti injectors you might just as well get a GT inlet modded like I did...

Sorry to hijack just throwing it in there for you to consider, I know that if you did do that (use the GT management) with a 268 cam and other mods you say, you would be hitting 110 - 115bhp and with a remap you might hit 120bhp :biggrin:

Which in a mk3 is pretty perfect imo
