so been messing on polo selecta..then to modify, in paint....

so a black roof and a/b/c pillars, red mirror, white pinstripe, reatr seats/ exhaust removed.

the only thing is the C pillar. there is no line to follow so it will be a bit silly, so a pinstripe will be needed i think....colours? I'm thinking white or dark grey? i dont want it to stand out. be a suttle tint.

MOT friday, just had to get 2 replacment tyres, decided for time being id get part worn cost me 20 quid inc fitting etc which aint bad!

sort of bricking it though as I'm pretty sure theres something ill have missed when rebuilding it. gonna go through it all again tomorrow at work if its quiet. I'm also thinking emissions will be high, not for any reason other than i cant test em so there for with my luck there will be a problem as its a new engine (to me at least). iv got to have everything spot on because the MOT tester (also the guy who me and my stepdad are renting the garage off is very picky with everything and can see him being very strict with me...

wanted it ready for tomorrow for the unphased meet but mot guy int in =[ got to wait for him....pain in the ass!

Red body work and red wheels doesnt work unless youve got different coloured dished IMO.

Passad with 1 advisory! Handbrake cover for rear ofside is split and caused a seisure of the wire lol. Tank stil leaking though!!!ffs!!!

Can be fixed but how?? Anyone? Welding will blow a hole thru aparently...

head gasket went through an oil and water cavity. so changed the gasket. head came off and on piston/ cyl 4. found this....

i cannot for the life of me think of what on earth these marks are from. so cleaned it up as much as i could and put it all back together. so far no problems what so ever. so I'm fine with it for the time being.

as I'm sure your all aware of how nice the weather is, went for a drive with my mates car just after polishing up the cars. we had some polish, never seen the stuff before but it was brilliant. apparently the guy who we got it off said he uses it to polish lambos/ bentlys n shit, aparently. but the polish was a treat!

i decided to clean up my engine bay a wee bit as it was full of shit and grime. didnt get a before so heres the after...

only to find that. today i stupidly reposisioned my oil breather. accedently kinking it somewhere, didnt realised. so as a result the oil decided to build pressure and pump the contents of my oil pan onto the road and all over my nice and clean legs/ bulkhead. so alot of cleaning (again)

needless to say its tought me a lesson.

was at my mates garage where hes replacing the 8v gti engine, and the fronts on axle stands, and he had a funny idea to stick his 16x9 borbet As on my polo.

concidering they were 9" they didnt stick out that far...

didnt take em for a drive just to see what they would look like, quite funny, had some lil kid, i mean he were about 12 walk past and he told me I'm not supposed to have my wheels sticking out past the arches. now i knew this already, but how the fuck does a 12yr old know this?!?
