i have recently bought a polo darby 1.3 GT and after owning the car a week i have realised that it isnt for me. i changed to this from a vectra with everything to a polo with nothing in the hope i could find the enthusiasm to produce a one of polo, but unfortunatly i just dont have the time or money and i think the main reason is i just dont like the car half as much as my previous one.

About the car, it's on the log book as a 1.0 so it will be down to the new owenr to chang if they wish to do so. The car is red with a black boot. It has a full pipercross stainless exhaust (with life time guaentee). GT alloys (one center cap missing). The car has been lowerer (i dont know how much but its low!) alos the car has drilled and grooveddisks on the front.

Now for the bad points. When i bought the car you couldnt lock it as the previous owner lost the key. So i have borrowed the drivers door lock of my freind which i will need to give him back. But i have had a price of £18 for a full lock set with key. The petrol gage, rev gage and tempurature gage dont work. If you manage to fix one of these you will fix them all. (i belive it is a transformer in the wireing loom but like i said i dont have the time or money). The boot doesnt open from the outside because you wont be able to lock it again but it is able to open from the inside of the car.

The clocks in the car read 106,000 but the engine has only done 80,000 miles

I paid quite a bit of money for this car and would like back what i paid for it so I'm setting the price at £999 ono but i may be tempted to swap the car, just depends what you have got :p

Now i now the car isnt in brilliant shape but for a big vw enthusiast i belive this will make a dream car for them. I have only had the car a week and every body has commented on how nice it looks and how few of them there are around nower days.

The car is insurance group 6 so cheap insurance even for a young driver and the car is very quick for such a little engine. Saxo VTR's cant stand a chance .

BY THE WAY MINE IS A MK3 POLO CL ON THE LOG BOOK BUT HAS A 1.3 GT ENGINE IN NOW. MINE IS THE SALOON MODEL.

Mines a K-reg 1.3 standard. tax and test til august, CD HU, got some shitty speakers i can reinstall. Basically a cheap little runner. Wolfsburg Mats, BMW E30 Wheels, pool ball gear knob(Not to my taste tbh), got some shitty cone filter. i'm halfway through stripping it but i can reinstall everything I've took out.
