Bored watching the F1, might go and Hammerite my rear drums and front calipers as they look shit behind my wheels..

Erm, is it ok to use on calipers, heat wise? And anyone know how long it takes to dry before i get some, dont want i splatting on my rims...

yeah but i can flake off over time, due to the heat e.t.c

you can get propper paint that has a hardner included

av used hammerite on engine blocks tho, and its been fine! lol

give it a day before you blast about init, or get a heat gun out

am bored of F1 too haha

bro used hammerite on his calipers and they were fine with no problems. when we done them, he sold the car a year later and they were still all good! just gave them a quick clean with a wire brush and water, let them dry, and then give them a couple of coats of hammerite. i think it takes about 20 mins to dry. great stuff though, will be doing mine soon too! :)

Sooo bored

when i did mine i did um red. but the hammerite came out more an orangey red, so i used the halfrauds caliper red and they are a really bright red.

i haven't owned the car for nearly 2 years and they still look as good as the day i painted them,

but the drums i used high temp black (halfrauds own brand) comes out matt black but looks good.

painted some on one of my old coupes with white hammerite. turned to a light gold after a couple of months but i didnt really care. Gonna do the calipers on my G when i replace them.

F1 is boring in general now, i agree!
