Yeah I have no sympathy for the fuckers in the car and the one dead, as far as I'm concerned it's the passengers responsibility too

Don't get in the car and tell your mate he shouldn't be driving as well

Couldn't agree more.

My cousin's friend was killed by a drunk driver not so long ago :(

Hope you're okay mate

Seeing a death is heavy mate...i know.I saw a drunk guy walk out in front of

a bus in the city centre of Glasgow when i was on a works night out.He was only

5 yards away from us and we heard the bones in his body breaking when the

bus hit him.....

Sorry to hear you had to go through that buddy really sad to read

Thats a awfull experience you had to go through! Hope your alrite dude.

Wow. Feel sorry for you, i dont think id know what to do in that situation.

Do you think it was just that the driver was drunk? Sounds more like that than as if he was pissing about or anything.

Shows you how dangerous cars are if they can do that to someone so quickly and easilly if not given proper respect.

My God Dan, that's a horrific thing to have to go through! If it's really playing on your mind, don't feel bad about seeking someone to talk to.

Sorry to hear man hope all is well, dont let it dishearten you!!!! stay happy keep cool 8-)

bird works in a pub, i tell her everytime to just ring and grass them up, they should have a direct line lol

but end of day pubs wont do shit, dont bite the hand that feeds you

Very true, we felt guilty the other week when a bloke jumped into a car and drove off, but its the own persons choice like anything really, once the person leaves our premises its nothing to do with us and whats even worse is some of the people are nice that are drink driving :?

Terrible none the less.

that has kinda pissed me off to be fair lol. if you think about it, if someone from your pub / a pub you work at drives home on the piss, crashes into a car and lets say kills a mother and farther and 2 kids. If you think about it, its YOUR fault that that familey got killed, YOU could of stopped it from happening but it seems that your trying to say that money is more important than life

dont bite the hand that feeds you
i mean wtf really.... if you could save 4 innocent lives just by losing what.. £20 a week? wouldnt you do that?? and its not even them 4 lives your runining them 4 people have familey who are also going to be pretty pissed off.

congratulations you have sucsesfully put me in a fucking bad mood. -.-

must be one of the hardest experiences to overcome

no matter what you do, at night i bet you'll still think about it

Hope your ok dan, bet it was a surreal experience

That is one hell of a story, really feel sorry for you having to witness that.

Its a good advert for why drinking and driving is dangerous though, and shows how fragile life is.

cant really say much more than has already been said, but i hope it doesnt drag you down!

i cant imagine what state id be in if i was placed in the same situation

Really sorry to hear what you've had to witness.

Don't take this the wrong way, but have a sit down with a counsellor. I've witnessed one fatal collision and it isn't til the adrenaline stops that it really hits you. The easiest way to get a session with one without spending a lot of money is to get in contact with MIND 0845 766 0163, who keep a list of local charities that can provide counselling. Alternatively I'm not sure, but I think CRUSE will be able to help http://www.crusebereavementcare.org.uk/

not a nice thing to hear or come across I'm sure. i guess you haven't go time to be scared etc, u just got to act in what ever way you can. you've just gone thought what no one wants to come across. guess it was made better that the van stopped with you, so took any pressure off.

like dirrt said, i dont feel sorry for them, was ther own fault. feel bad for you more then those wasters.

at the end of the day though mate its still a life cut short needlessly for 1 stupid mistake

This is awful to here .. Hope your alright mate i know personally i couldnt deal with such a situation very easily .

Hope you manage to get over it quick :)

OMG, thats so awful, least you stopped and did the right thing though. I know its not the same thing as such but when i was training to be a nurse, i saw a lot of people dying and because i saw it so much, you eventually have to look at it a different way. You will remember it but its the way life goes. Stupid drink drivers tho, always the innocent that get hurt and driver walks away.

Hope you feel better soon though

That sucks man, hope it doesnt affect you for too long, i'd imagine it would upset me too, I'm not squeemish to gore, just couldnt deal with seeing death..

Tbh i hope the driver gets fucking locked up for that, the passenger paid the ultimate price for getting in the passenger seat of a drunk driver, and it's only right that the driver gets whats coming to him aswell.

Thats an awful thing to have to come across/be involved in. Hope it doesnt affect you for too long, although I'm sure it will never be forgotten.

I'm with Dirrt tho, dont feel sorry for them but for the sake of a £20 taxi.....:(

A life is still a life etc :(

thats totally horrific man, just shows how somebodys irresponsible-ness doesnt just effect themselves but has a knock on effect on everybody around

ah well at least you've got some inspiration for a new sticker design

holy sh*t dude, sorry to hear you had to witness that!!

I hope the driver is done for manslaughter! Mother fucker. I think you'd have to be brain dead to get in a car with a pissed driver. At least he didnt kill an innocent person coming the other way I guess.

Sorry to hear though man, just shows you how quickly and easily life can be lost.

i will be fine I'm sure, it is a very strange feeling tho, just keeps playing in my mind, going over it

And Stonez dont come on to my post and preach to me, you have totally missed the point of what i was saying.

Your logic is way off, and in a way your looking for blame, so your example of the pissed punter going home

is the taxi man who wanted to charge too much to take them home to blame too?

the guys mother who lent him £10 so he could get the extra pints in, is she to blame too?

If you were sat in a pub and you saw someone drunk heading out to their car, would you mr muscle it over and take his keys, and say "you arent driving home infidel"

The whole thing about drink drivers is the fact they dont listen, and the only way you can convince them drink driving is bad, is to have an accident like i posted.

Sad yes, but it is the hard truth

See thats just daft, your assuming that every drunk is going to kill 4 people as soon as they put keys in ignition, true majortiy of time they dont, and all is fine. But you cant pin it on pub owners bar tenders to enforce anything, the point i was trying to make was that they arent going to go out of their way to do anything, as its the nature of their business.

Think before you post mate

and tbh do u expect bar staff to ask every person who buys a drink whether they're driving or not? anf if they say no whos to say they're not lying? pretty stupid to be blaming your bad mood and dropping your burden on dan :?

i reckon if you drank-drove-had an accident, you'd turn up in court blaming the pub for letting you drink

Surely if your dead they still cut you out????

mate that fookin nasty , but i know how you feel cause I'm a fireman in manchester and I've seen some horrible stuff . Time is a good healer .

.......the body will get cut out but after a police investigation .
