EXTERIOR: Removed the 'coupe' badge. Clear front indicators with orange running lights. VW & Polo CL badge sprayed black. De wipered. Clear Side repeators. Euro windscreen wipers. English pressed plates. Number plate surrounds. Pin striping. Chrome door handle inserts.

INTERIOR: Full GT interior. Leather G60 steering wheel.

ICE: Sony Headunit with AUX + USB input, Kicker ES 12" Ported Sub in the boot, JBL uprated front speakers and a cheap pair of 4x6 speakers in the back. OEM Wiper relay from a MK3 Golf.

When I bought it, Feb 09:

Needed two new front shocks.

New Fuel tank.

Not quite sure how you're getting away with having 195/50 tyres? i have 45 profile on my G60s and they still catch!

You wanna try and get hold of a G40/GT steering wheel as it abit more chunky than the item you have and looks better.

Cheers; you've just reminded me, I've got 5mm spacers on the rear.

&& to be honest, not really driven it, except around the block so don't know about scrubbing yet. :/

The fronts are bad though, on full lock.

not surprised you need spacers on the rear. catching the springs by chance?

You'll be scrubbing like fook with any weight in the car - trust me on that! I should get some pics of my other rims with 50s on to show you the damage that occurs.

You'll be better off with 45 profile or getting some stretch going on to avoid scrubbage. I dont get much, if any on full lock and only catch the tyres on big bumps at speed.

Yull be rubbing like a bitch on those wheels, will take about 50 miles to wear them out lol. If you plan on lowering it you've got no chance. Anyway very clean polo you have I like the rear lights (H), Get a GT steering wheel, I hate the standards ones.

No lowerage on these, these are just for now. Too learn in. :)

Plates haven't turned up yet. :(

Had it up on axel stands, to change the front shocks, didn't know you needed a special VW tool... :/

So I've had to leave it like this! :(

And my ball joints were shot so had to saw them off.

Anyone know where to order new rubbers and ball joints?

(Sorry if I'm not using the technical wording - Bit of a N00B!)

Blown another £80 today on a headunit & second hand amp for the sub a picked up for £20 a week back. :)

So soon there will be a sound system update. :)

ahh yeah, i was gonna say if you got 'em off ebay they'll probs take a while, got mine off there they took just under 2 weeks! they legal pressed plates?

The sound won't be too visually amazing, just a cheap job for now till am on the road.

Just ordered some smoked side repeators & some uprated front bulbs.

Spent over a £1000 so far. (including buying the car but when your at college thats a fair bit!)

Oh and here's a quick snap of the sub I managed to pick up for £20!

Gunna respray the outer edge gloss black as it's abit scratched atm.

Oh aye, the backs are fine - It's the fronts that are the problem.

But the audiobahn's wern't mine. :) I've sold that sub already, getting another. Kicker one. :)

New subwoofer already - Kenwood one isn't staying. (Y) Kicker FTW!

Oh and my Xenon bulbs turned up but there abit blue. And my new amplifier did too.

Going down this Sunday. Things to fit:

Fuel tank.

Front shocks.

New sound system which includes; Uprated front JBL speakers, Sony Headunit, Kicker Amp, Kicker ES subwoofer.

Xenon front bulbs.

Smoked side repeators.

Pressed plates.

New mats inside.

Steering wheel.

Also, give it a good clean I reckon! It deserve's it.
