Standard AAV, cat gutted out, no middle silencer.

But... Everyone does that.

Yeah , i would of though if you still have the cat and silencer then it would catch the fuel and stop that from happening, Unless the pops acutally happen in the manny??

My GT used to make louder bangs and pops than that!

Funny though.

come on Rob you can do better than that

just wait til i get my stuff sorted

Love it rob, all it needs is some Brock b2's and it'd be identical to my last one!

And a huge splitter ;)

i was expecting it to be raspy!

we get lads in 106 GTis sat down the sea front, reving off the limiter, popping and banging their exhausts for no reason :?

i keep waiting from them to do it and hear their engines go bang

Well... things are happening again.

Fell outta love with her in all honesty, saving up and were planning on buying a MK4 Golf next Summer and just running this as is.

Today though... Thanks to Chris Rice (Chris 1300) - things are back on with the polo.

Things done:

Replaced drivers bottom control arm (only one in stock) :doubt:

Was going to just do outter bush but only to find out everything else was shot, just decided to replace whole lot, alot cheaper. The drivers side was that slack I didnt realise how bad the passenger side is. Now under full throttle in 1st gear, the steering wheels turns half way round on its own. Be replacing that very very soon me thinks.

Replaced rear wheel bearings.

Intermittent Wiper relay (can now control how long I want between wipes)

Orange indi's + running lights wired up to side lights.

Debadged grill banged on as it goes better with orange indi's (apparently)

New genuine drivers side Hella headlight as the casing on the old one was bust.

Re-jigged heat shield 'cause I keep ripping it off. :smirk:

Things to do:

Replace passengers bottom control arm.

Add 'Scene Bummer' ebay addition to see what it looks like... :ninja: - You'll see.

Replace white strip below front lights and grill as mines bent.

New door hinges.

Remove glue from boot.

Rear badge the correct way up :retard:

Take off front GT plastic arches and line up properly as they have slipped down.

Orange side repeaters back on (probably)

Perhaps GT front badge to break that grill up a tad. But really, I need the engine to go with it.

Coilovers and new wheels maybe for after winter?

Boot of bits for polo and golf this morning. (I never use my boot in all honesty - most it gets in it)

Just a quick shot of running lights on.

Can safely say, i love this car and it's not going anywhere... big thanks to Rice again.

mk4 golf! slap yourself boy!

anyway glad you've seen sense, good work mate
