Finally got the front shocks done, after ending up replacing the top rubbers, track rod ends (both sides, with the drivers side being a whole new track rod), both top strut nuts and the actually shocks themselves. Needs tracking doning now; badly as you'll see in a photo below.

Also fitted the sound system in which is very bass heavy! Uprated door pods are in need I reckon.

Plates are on as well as the new front bulbs - comparson photo's below as everyone seems to ask about them.

Added red stripes on the bumpers, unsure atm about them. Also changed the grill back to the VW badged one, but I've sprayed it black.

Haven't bothered with fitting the aftermarket steering wheel as of yet, might do that later; we'll see.

And as yet need to fit the new fuel tank... :(

++ need some more 5mm spacers for the front.

looking good. i tried 195/50R15 on my standard height polo saloon and had to space the backs 3mm to clear strut on the rear and they caught the inner arch on full lock. have you been advised on which tyres to use on the 15" wheels on your car?

Been advised to get some 195/45's or 165/50's I think for some stretch. But no money so...

Can't lower it on the tires I have. When I get new wheels; it'll be downnn.

Well...

Been on the road for four days.

And in that time my ex managed to drive it up a curb at 30mph buckling two alloys and blowing a tire out. So now my tracking is out, when a only had it done 2 weeks ago.

And my exhaust has split in two. Not pleased...

But nevertheless, got a hold of these for £90.

Shoved them on, and it looks like a 4x4... - sorry for the bad photo.

So am rocking steel wheels for now until a can afford some lowerage.

Exhaust is getting sorted tomorrow which has reduced my funds even further.

I get a tiny box put in my car; and if a drive it between 11pm and 5am I get charged £45.

But it knocked like £900 off my insurance, its only for a year anyways.
