I had the same problem in all fairness. I ended up taking it to a place i thought wouldn't touch it just to see (HiQ) and they just said yeh and did it there and then, with the same equipment the other garages had that said no

a quick tidy of the bodywork, a 3F or AFH engine and you'll be head over heels for it again i promise you, i speak from experience

Oil and filter change - needed doing really, it's been like 15K she's past the 100,000 mile marker too now. racked up 37K in less than two years..

New manifold gasket because she was blowing more than a prostitute on a friday night.

Quick wash and refitting some bits of loose trim.

Removed bumpstops for some more lows. anyone else had any problems with the driver side track rod sitting on their brake servo?

now, all she needs is a good polish and we're good to go.

she's all spruced up, G3'd the entire car. she needed it, proper. it's actually white for the first time in 12months compared to the creamy milky colour she was before. but, still, no photo's. just wait till after this weekend. rollingshotsftw!

actually tempted now to drop a AFH in, get some proper suspension and vented brakes chucked on along with some 7J classics out back with proper tires. screw the 'new car' idea..

spray them matt black but, they're a pain when they chip and peel off. try a heat gun?
