Another little update; no photo's butt....

I have a rev counter! :-D

80mph = 4k rpm :lol:

ahh right :/ i wont bother with that then  i'll have to search around a bit more.

cheapest i've been quoted on my own policy fully comp is £2900 :|

I'm sure you could get it cheaper than that, i got my insurance for £1400, my own policy but 3rd party. Got it through adrian flux, think the company was called equity redstar or sumthin like that.

Odd new sticker here and there, no biggy.

New air freshner.

Ah, and sprayed the petrol cap matt black - no reason why just fancied trying it.

Image0023.jpg

Andddddd, tinted my headlights, indicators and side repeators, cost me £8 - plus there was enough left over to do my mates car. Every single light/lense in or on his car.

And it still hasnt ran out.

it makes the car look tired

what car did you take the tube stuff (i dont know the proper name :|) off, so you could replace the air filter with the uprated one?

  • Author

She is tired, bless her.

After me anyways...

You mean the "induction kit"

It's a MK3 Golf throttle elbow which bolts to the orginal Polo throttle body, the piping is also from the MK3 golf.

And then I simply wacked a universal air filter on the end. (In the golf that'd be connected to the airbox.

yeah the induction kit.. i didnt really wanna call it that cos like, it wasn't one. but i suppose it is, i duno, i'm a idiot.

but it all fits on alright then? no bodging? cos that'd fit mine too.... :ninja:

Yeah all fit straight on :)

  • Author

Aye, what that guy said.

Theres three bolts which holds the UFO airbox in place, simply remove these, wack on the golf elbow and with three bolts it goes into the same holes.

Done.

Then add the piping and universal filter.

sickk i might 'ave to do that then, got a universal filter somebody gave me. you get everything you needed off a golf from a scrappy? fairly cheap? can't imagine it'd be expensive..

I got it second hand for £20, inc the filter off someone on here.

I've been scrappers since, saw it and thought whether to "borrow it" - doubt it'll be expensive mind.

Dude, nice.

Love the h/lights. Where did you get the tinted stuff from?
