Alright, finished College today at lunchtime so a thought I'd do something productive rather than driving around burning off fuel.

Set about on Matilda (Yeah. Thats her name)

Popped down to the shops, bought some Matt Black spray paint, and a can of Ford Velvet purple.

Got home, wipped the front bumper off... Only to find my slam panel, which is held in place by one very loose bolt in the centre so it can rock from side to side in the wind.

Scary.

Wacked some more bolts in place, done nearly 4000 miles with it like that.

Always knew it were a death trap but hey-ho.

Removed the rear boot plinth so that could be sprayed as it were more of a grey than black.

Then sprayed up the front bumper, sprayed up the plinth and then set about deciding whats going to be purple.

Ended up going like this:

Oh, and if you haven't noticed, all those red strips have gone.

Setting upon the rear bumper with the Matt black paint on Friday.

EDIT: Did the handles too. Can see on the cardboard.

Bloody woman in a HUGE Merc (4x4) with parking sensors on, managed to back out into her.

A know, the plates arn't legal neither nor the bulbs.

if your lights arent very bright since they have been smoked just get some 100w rally bulbs, so they will give out as much light as normal haha

my mate has some on his mk2 escort, his lights arent even smoked so when hes behind me i get blinded

unlucky about the polo thought mate just shows some woman cant drive, even when they have help from the bloody car!

does this mean you wont be coming to the polo meet on sunday?

you will probley have to get the full car painted, when i got a new wing for mine i went to get the paint and i coudn't as there is 18 diffrent shades of candy white, so my wing a diffrent colour to the rest of the car

Cheers, it were something different at the time - which a thought looked mint.

But now, am thinking of going for the clean look - just black and white, no feature colour.

Maybe a chequered roof?

We'll see.

She's my daily toy/project so am just trying anything and everything.
