is it the 4.2v8? must be, think ud be better off putting the SD! engine in..smaller block less power but u can tune it up to something decent like 300bhp? if not more?

There isnt a lot of room but tbh have any of you worked on a new car recently? Some of the stuff on the VAG product is rediculous.

If no one tried any thing new there would be no 20vt swaps or VR6's in polo's end of, why not try giving the guy some credit for what he's achieved so far?

I hope this project gets finished, I'd love to see this working. Was always gutted that the attempt to put the same engine into the back of a mk2 polo never saw the road, although it did apparently drive at one point.

We all need to see a video of this thing going.

Whats the SD engine from; the 3.6 from the old skool Audi V8? Pretty sure thats a cast iron block when i stood next to one on a pallet at an Audi Owners club members farm LOL

io ment to say the SD1 engine from a rover lol, 3.5 v8 amazing engine....shame the car was crap lol...then again it was british...longer on one side than the other...only problem with putting it in is what tranny u going to run?

seen a camper wi the 3.5 in, never heard it as the guy i was talking to about it...didnt have the keys =[ was at all types...black one, behind the polo stand under a tree...if anyone saw it?

Imagine the sound it'd make! It'd be worth the conversion for that alone.

I'm sure it'll handle like a dog, and maybe even sit at the line spinning its wheels 'til the tyres pop, but it's gonna sound awesome! :-D
