Got bored so thought I would paint strip and polish my spare grille surround.... still not totally sure if I like it but I'll leave it for a while :lol:

Are you going to laquer i to stop it from rusting?

I quite like it to be fair. If the car wasnt close to an r32 blue it wouldnt work as well as it does i think.

Maybe repainting the bits just under the light so it looks more like a polished grille surround instead of an entire front panel would work?

Love the fact that youve had the balls to do something different here though, and it works a hell of a lot better than id have thought if someone just explained it without pictures ;)

i was guna say it looks like an r32 lol. laquer that, looks immense.

I was thinking the same, paint the bits under the lights until the curve begins, and you're onto a winner 8-)

i think it would look better with the bits just under the headlights painted body colour then you would end up with a more cetralised polished bit

looks pretty good mate, get it a bit more shiny and then laquer it, i quitw likw it painted under the lights aswell

haha cheers everyone, scene mod perhaps I duno, good luck finding a metal is all I can say as all the other I've seen are plastic including my original one :D

will get more wet and dry as I only went to 1200 and then laquer it. will also give the painted bits a try when I get bored of this :thumbsup:
