nice install there i have just had my polo 6n at tsr getting a 20vt conversion done just droped it of at bodyshop then i need to take it back to tsr about the 17th june i will be down there.they done an amazing job on my install very tidy.

yeah i was impressed when i saw the quality of there work an my engine bay is pretty full with my charge cooler an all the piping

I know matey was just being silly. Some dude in Leeds took me out in his mk2 20vt (venom motorsports old demo car) and they are like nothing else. The retro feel of the interior coupled with that power is just pant wettingly exciting.

Modern power + oldschool looks = perfection.

Friend had a mk2 VR6 for a while. They do not compare as engines. VR6 are nice power and sound good but these are different gravy.

Good work so far. Keep it simple. Leave the looks as it is :-)

thanks dude, i agree with what you said, vr6 and 1.8t just dont compare, my opinion is the 1.8t is such a better engine. and compared to when the vr was in it feels so much more modern...with the oldskool looks I'm defo ;leaving the looks as it is...but the interiour will change. looking for some mk2 leccy recaros once i have the money...and maybe a momo team. ill keep this thread updated.

Momo team and suitable recaros would be awesome. Just no gash mods :-) Too nice for anything like that. Banded G60's for winter months. Stealthy pimp!!

i had a mk2 8v digifant before my polo 6n2, and the 20vt mk2 just doesnt compare. its a completely different car, leagues apart. definately worth it. :-D

in standard form the leon didnt compare to the polo, but once my mate had had all his work done to make it 330bhp i couldnt keep up in the polo. my mk2 is as quick as his leon though. we were neck and neck yeaterday and neither of us could pull away from each other. must be to do with the weight difference of the golf to the heavier leon. i have 280bhp and weigh under a tonne...he has 330bhp and weighs over a tonne. you still got your polo?

cheers I've been toying with that idea for a while now, but dont wanna regret it afterwards.

tbh i think it would look sweeeeeet with them done. and if u dont like them (which i doubt u wont like them) get them resprayed back to original colour. infact ask what others think and ask some of the genius's on here to photoshop it for you. it will save u a bob.
