any way about the car!

dragon green paint works pretty good couple of scraches and chips here and there but its 11 years old!

63000+ as I'm still driving it till the 2nd of may!

no seats or anything in the back

smoothed boot with popper

the previous owner had done a bit to the engine and calaimed it has 130bhp there was no proof on paper but the car does realy fly beats other 16v quite easily!!

wheels are rh cups 7x15 and 8x15 good con lil bit of corrosion and a lil curbing on the rears!

coilovers dont realy know what make

overall realy nice car and i will be open to offers so be kind!

ooo S**t nearly forgot the lil bad bits

the windows stick a lilbit

exhast is loud and rattles a bit

the oil sensor light is always on and i dont know what it is because i just chaged the filter and toped up with totaly new oil and it still does it bu dosent sffect the car

also tax and tast till june!

yeeea its screwed in mate but I've tooken it off and the holes realy arnt that noticeable!

have you got any lights over the number plate? otherwise it wont pass MOT will it? just curiouse. might buy it off you if it still for sale when iv sold my 8v.

also with the number plate the lights are facing upward but you could stick it to the tailgate for the mot!

yeea its all good all the bad bits are stated in the post! also when i bought the car a month ago it had just been fitted a new gear box and its got a 12 month warranty soo I'm guessing its fine!

Wow This Car has been about for sometime now

This car is Defo not been setup right or simply has not been given the proper time

needed to have the necessary adjustments made.... it seems as if this car

kills gearboxes for fun... maybe the torque is to much for the gearbox being used I Dont know...

The Rolling Road print out Stated that it was running around ( 138 bhp )

So just out of Coureosity what gear box is it that has been getting recon'd all this time...

is it a proper 1.6 16v gearbox from the 6n2 GTI or is it a 1.4 16v box from the 6n cause

I know the car has a 1.4 16v head which is running a 1.6 16v bottom end... ?

dude this car has been... on club polo for quiet sometime and is very well know the people whom use this forum... if the gear box has gone again hence the sudden drop in price from £1500 to £900 it simple implies that the current gear box that has been selected is not ideal for the current setup which was choosen. Do note that If if it is the 1.6. 16v gearbox which is being used for this setup then be aware that these gearboxes are know for issues i.e. bushes, release bearings things of that nature...

VW themselves have admitted these boxes are not as Durable as previous designs...

I Just thought I would Comment on this Car cause when first seen and read about the setup up that was selected i.e. the 1.4 head with the 1.6 bottom end...

I was intrested in buying it myself along with a friend of mine whom was close to buying it at one point....

ummm i dont know what to say mate ha you know more about the car than i do!!

well i think the gearbox fitted is the 1.4 16v box as it states that on the warranty sheet so i guess your right there is too much tourque for the gearbox

but the gearbox did last 6 months haa and i was sorta driving it like felipe massa!

umm i guess you could put the gti box on it but i haven't got a clue i just want to sell it on to someone whos realy gona enjoy this great car that kinda scares the shit outa me and I've only had it 2 months!
