Dub Danny,i did not get a full time job at 16 because i was too lazy to do further education in search of a sweeter job.

I got a full job at 16 in order to pay my way, straight away, even though it was harder bloody work than you've ever done. You cocky student brat.

JC25,i figure the cones are there for the Golf. Maybe not legally, but still.

Wow, chill out there and step down off your high horse you impotent fool.

Who said I was being cocky, and who are you to question the amount of work I do?

I take 3 A levels, sat 12 seperate GCSE's along with an NVQ level 2 when I was at High School all while pulling a part time job and I've had three other jobs before that and I spend my summer holidays working my arse off for a shitty wage just so I can pull my own way.

So I suggest you take back your comment, shove it where the sun doesn't shine and nobody is there to read it and keep opinions, and statements to yourself.

DICK

i think this matter has been discussed enough. someone got a key?

fucking right they do.. especially when it's scummy little fucking students that park right outside their houses cos they're too fucking lazy to walk an extra couple of minutes and too fucking tight to pay the parking charge

You dont like students do you lol

Whoever doesn't like it :

1. Dont buy a house near a school or college

2. Request the street to be permit only or double yellows

3. Ask whoever parks outside your house politely and kindly to not do so

or 4. get a house with a drive

Edited by milothesodapop

1. They might have had the house before the college was built, or had it in their family and it got passed down

2. Again, they might of done, but were declined

3. Isnt that what they are doing with the cones?, they cant ask someone not to park there when theyve just nipped out to go pick their kids up from school

4. Revert to (1.)

Its not illegal to put cones out, and its not illegal to move said cones, risk having your car kicked because you couldnt be arsed walking an extra 100m or so

i think just go oldskool and teabag there cones then next time they come out make sure your watchin the cones and effectively theyve just touched your balls. then you will b the one laughing!

First actual sensible suggestion in this thread. Excellent idea.

Whatever gave that away? :lol::lol:

I love student jealousy, it makes me LOL.:lol::lol:

when I was a student, I had options for parking:

1. Pay for the uni parkig permits, park in a safe, secure car park.

2. Pay daily or when i could be arsed to go in. (being realistic)

3. Park in the back streets, which was free in front of someone's house being disrespectufull in some respects.

Answer i chose.

I loved the car I had at the time, i paid for the permit and used a uni car park. If you can't afford to stick it somewhere, you shouldn't have it with you. (same applies to your car).

If I had cheeky students parking outside making it impossible for myself to get parked, I'd come up with some kind of genius plan to get them. (chilli's on door handles or something)

Jealousy!?

If you say so

i think you need to step back and look at it from there side, how would you like it if your road was used as a car park by people too tight to park in the designated area meaning you probably have to park your car in the next street?

people do this on the road that leads out of the industrial estate i work on, there too tight to pay for parking in the train station car park so park them on the side of that road, which turns it into a single lane road. this causes a massive ball ache at 4.30pm when most of the worker's from the estate are trying to get out, even more so if some one turns in to the road trying to down the other way. car crime my be the bain of our lives but even so i pissed myself once when sitting in grid locked caused by these muppets i noticed that most of the cars parked up had been broken into and no body seemed to give a toss.

maybe you should bare that in mind when blocking some ones parking space, are they gonna do any thing if they see some one trying to have your car away?

^^ Yet people who go straight into work because their mummy or daddy can get them in or they landed a good job on the off chance...or simply left school and got a job because they couldn't be arsed to learn any more have the money to pay such things, and so shouldn't?

is that from the Gordon Brown school of delusional thinking?

btw us 'lazy' workers are the people keeping you in this cushy freeloading lifestyle you choose to live. most students in my eyes are in the same league as dole dossers and sponging immigrants.

Thats what annoys me about the people who park down my street, there all hotshot buisness people with mercs and bmw's, n its the fact there so tight and would rather spend the 5pound a day parking fees on starbucks and the daily mail!!

get a driveway! its long, but its the simple answer

Thanks mate, i didnt think of that, were shall i put this driveway?

the people that have been to uni and got good jobs are usually on the top income tax band, so they pay alot more tax than someone whos in a 3rd year apprentice or working full time as a mechanic, students pay for them self in the long term, and infact pay for more than themselfs, you cant honeslty say that this country would be better off without any kind of higher education? look around a bit and see, there are only a few people that make millions with out furter education of some kind, you dont get apprenticeships to goverment, arctecture, project management, you have to go get the training first at a Uni then put your skills into place, most students are also in crappy waged jobs like mcdonalds, tescos, resteraunts, etc. to pay for there course and somewhat plain lifestyle for the 5 years of learning they go through. alot of you say that we should just pay for permits, but a tenner a week on parking + fuel + tax + insurance (btw which is a complete scam untill your 21+) mot + the caar its self, costs mount up faster than you can get the money in. the average students in £12k of debt after uni, and then 10% of all earnings is deducted from your pay untill this is payed off, so there is no loss atall in students.

^ Someone with a brain.

But it's your choice to go to uni knowing you're getting that debt

What makes me chuckle is most people go to uni, fuck about, get fucked up, don't learn, bitch about exams and don't do anything when they've finished and are qualified

i'm agreeing with Laura on the basis that I'm living up to exactly what she said above.

except getting into debt, lived at home, never got the loan and blagged tuition from parents.
