My First lot of adjustments to the car approximately 6 months ago now.

Crikey that looks like one GTi that had almost all the boxes ticked at the time of purchase! I think the only thing missing is the sunroof option! Have you got heated seats too? I think I see the switches in your interior shot. You have the auto wipers too, very cool :)

Not sure about the wheels, they're just not my cup of tea on newer Dubs. But if you like 'em, then don't listen to me!! Any other plans before the big one (BAM 225 conversion)?

Cheers mate. I'm holding on to the wheels until some RMs show up then i will change them. Yeah its got heated leather. I bought the MFD unit but i thought it was a nice touch. Would of loved the sunroof too lol. I wanted to lightly smoke the windows, and prepare to be skint for a while once the engine is dropped in hmmmmmm will be worth it though i hope :). Ad

thanks for the comment mate dont get me started on yours one of the ones that got me inspired to do mine so thumbs up! i had the toss up between decent shocks and springs or cheap coilies so went for the shocks..........I'm reluctant to have it any lower with the 195/50s as it scrubs enough on when turning haha when the tyres are gone I'm thinking coilies with 195/45s, A couple of opinions on the following matter would really help guys so please let me know as i want this finished before the show.

Black Front Badge or keep the Silver one?!

A light smoke tint all round or does the gleaming clean glass do it better?!

well i run 8j wheels all round with 195-45 and I've had my arches rolled and still rubs but I'm going to go for a 185-45 next if thats any help to you at all!

and as regards the tints and badge, completely up to you buddy! I've seen both done and both can look good

Seeing as i recently bougth a polo GTI i wanted to know how to make the red trim part on the grill? How did you do it? Paint? Tubing?

mask out everything with tape and leave out just the part you want red, then spray it. I had to do the "I" from GTI also cause the sade of red didn't match

ok so a few things have changed since the last post sorry for the delay been very busy. I've have since removed the 40mm springs and swapped them out for a set of 60mm springs getting the car a little more grounded stillon the uprated GMAX shocks. Also sold the Cups and went for something a little different. A new set of 7x16 Cades with a 2" polished dish and black centres (BBS RR replicas) on 195/40 Toyos.

First pictures with the colour coded splitter on and red piping off! thought id keep a Silver and Black theme. Apologies for photo quality there off my phone instead of the SLR....

Looks clean dude. But with the amount you have spent buying springs you could have opted for a cheap coilover set instead? Just my opinion man :)

colour coded splitter looks well,ties in with the bump strips. ill have get round to buying one at some stage, got any side on pics with the cups on ?
