I haven't been on this in years. Iv still got it, never did give up on it but i am still building it haha.

Naaah Rem is that you fam, Oii thats mad im cracking up hahaha, the way you just popped up out of nowhere, i hope your well.

Yeah man the faith is barely still there, but its there. it got to the point where i was in way to deep to give up on it. it is literally at the point of sort the teething problems then MOT it.

Its still on Air, iv just ditched the Carb'd 1.3l for a 1.5l G40 and fitted a fuel cell setup in the back and a floor mounted pedal box. A Subframe, semi slicks and a better air setup would pretty much make it ready for track, but im not getting into that right now lol im just trying to finish it, this year preferably, because this year makes it 10 years of ownership, its mad.

The polos been on the road for a few months now, had a few teething problems mainly with the fueling, killed 2 main fuel pumps because the lift pumps i was using couldn't supply enough fuel to them so they where running dry. In the end i ditched the lift pumps and now the main pump is gravity fed. Problem solved.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Got it to Surrey rolling road at the weekend so i could finely know how much its was putting out and if the map needed altering and well I it did.

It made 177hp running lean across the board and pinging like a bitch lower down the revs, done just over 200miles like that id say i would have melted a piston if they where still cast.

Struggling to find someone to map it, no one touches the old digifant ecu's no more, its forcing me to go aftermarket.

Im going to install water meth and sort the map i think i could squeeze out 185-190hp from it.
