Saturday afternoon was heading back home from a mates house. Came to my local roundabout 100 yrds from my house turning right into my estate as normal. As I got round the roundabout about to leave it I got smashed into from the nearside nearly putting me into a spin. Parked my car up and go out to see the damage. The nearside rear quarter is completly smashed in. It couldnt be furthur inside the car! The women that hit me in her kia managed to miss the passenger door and my rear wheel.

The women got out and was more worried about the smashed indicator and coolant leaking from her car. She didnt say sorry once! She said she had the sun in her eyes and couldnt see a thing so went straight on doing 30mph into the side of me!

Insurance are coming out tomorrow to have a look at the car but i'm certain its a write off cause the sill has been caved in.

I will be claiming for whiplash as I was in a previous accident in september in a works van where we got hit up the rear and was off work for 3 weeks. The accident on saturday brought it all back :(

By the end of the week I will have the following for sale:

Smooth bonnet

Manifold and exhaust with backbox

Projector headlights with HIDS

Crystal indicators and side repeaters

Euro spec Mk5 rear lights

Stubby aerial

Mk5 rear bench

Delocked passenger handle

False floor to cover the rear bench area all carpeted with sub hole cut out

Polished rocker cover

Prob will have other stuff but I cant remember atm

haven't made my mind up on prices yet. Will put them up tomorrow after the polo has been assesed.

Yer polo is in a bad state atm. Insurance will prob give me a grand tops! Coilovers are already sold to a mate with a mk5 gti :)

Yer phil came round earlier to help me with a few things and told me!

Cheers man. I did look after the car well. Recently spent 2 hours getting the gear linkage seal out which had to be replaced! Yer a car can be replaced after all!

Was so gutted when I first got out the car I was speachless!

Yer whiplash will go over time and compensation ease's it up alot :)

The pics dont show the full damage, I cant understand how far the rear quarter has entered the car!

I loved the look of the car so much the main reason why I kept it!

Wiplash is so painfull, you cant even stretch your arm out fully without the shocking pain fire at you and make you feel sick, its horrible
