Update on 6n **LOWER!**

Featured Replies

Had it lowered yesterday and i love it. Painted my steelies white as i got bored with black. I kept the green center caps which i didnt like as first but they are growing on me. I will be getting alloys when i have the money!

Any suggestions what i could do to it would be great.

Few pics.

its lower now!!

Hope you enjoy it more now ;)

I have to agree it sits nicer.

The pictures dont do it justice tho :(

Enjoy ;)

Gotta love 6n standard steelies painted!

I'll be putting mine back on this weekend! :p

Yeah Jack, I'm Agreeing With The Rest. Lower Down :)

Alex

Rear light needs tinting. Reverse light stands out too much.

"lol has that been lowered ?"

Yeh it has haha.

Ok i will wind it down some more then.

Yeh i tinted the rear lights red but left the reverse light coz i thought it would have to stay white ? :S

Maybe i was wronggggg.

Glad you ike the steelies btw :p

Thanks

Jack

i just went out to have a look at it and how its sitting. I dont want it to go much lower tbh. With steelies i dont like the way they sit so far inside the arches when its really low. Its going back to the garage on tuesday to have camber sorted etc and i may ask to go down a bit more front and back. But the roads round here arnt all that smooth either so i think perhaps it would be better not to go uber low.

:)

Excuses, excuses. Go low or go home. :p

hahaha joker

Ok i will go lower.

It looks lower in real life tho. The splitter catches on kerbs :S

Maybe i will drop it another5 or 10 mm and see how it looks

What do you think?

I LOVE low but on steelies it doesnt look as nice as i on a nice set of alloys :p

Jack

Thats boloney :-p get it right dowm to no/minimal arch gap

Scraping kerbs? i used to scrape the floor if the road wasnt flat

*edit for potato chops*

Dooo it!

Or if you think the wheels are too tucked, space them out a little

I had a little play too, CC caps and wheel lips

Lol ' Scraping the floor is fun'

Ok ok ok i will go lower!!

Like i said I'm not going really really low on steelies but i will go lower.. ok?!

I would like to space the wheels out but wheels spacers cost a bomb and id rather the money go towards new wheels.

Btw my coilovers are stiff as anything to adjust :S they brand new though? any ideas? How do i do it etc? I thought it was simple but maybe I'm being a fool!

Jack

soak them in WD40 before you adjust them and they should move more freely! Then you should cover the coils in copper grease when they are adjusted so they wont seize up!! Dude go as low or as high as you want, its up to you.....my opinion is to go lower, but at the end of the day its your ride and you should do what you want!

/\/\/\/\ what he said

Yeah, what I said.

na its not going lower. i only have about 5 mm ish left on each thread on coilovers anyway.

I've got my eyes on some 15 inch compomotive wheels also so its going to have to go up i should imagine.

It's sitting nice and how i like it now.

:)
