i'm 17 next week, so my dad phoned to get me an insurance quote for my mk2 breadvan. i was quoted £1500!!!!!!

it has been lowered but i didnt think it would be that expensive

if i cant get a cheaper qoute i will have 2 get rid of my beloved breadvan :cry:

have you tried bell? they give cheap quotes usualy

Not being funny or trying to piss on your fire, but at 17, just passed, 1500 on a modded car is pretty good :lol: It will go down after some experience, we all have to start somewhere....which is normally paying through the neck!

That quotes pretty damn good to be honest mate!! I really cant you getting it any cheaper than that at 17 with mods! :doubt:

my dad just told me he did'nt declare the mods, sorry that kind of fucked up all your posts :lol:

try adrian flux, you get a discount if your a member of cp.....i did, (told them I'm a member of cp and it saved me about £200 brucey bonus!)

Depends who your with, my mate was with quinn direct on learners and when he passed they wanted an extra grand on top of the grand he was paying! He moved else where in the end
