Lightened and Balanced mk1-3 Flywheel

Featured Replies

As I've decided to use all the mk4 stuff in my latest conversion i cant really use this with out some faff so thought id get some money for some other stuff for now,

this started life as a GT flywheel i believe but they're pretty much all the same anyways, it has been professionally lightened and then balanced by the engine machine shop i trust with all my work.

before vat that cost me 78quid

i would like £60 which i think is fair

tbh would rather this was collected for obvious reasons (its lightened but not that light!!! lol)

I'm just outside milton keynes, on the road to santa pod!

cheers

cant remember exact figures dude unfortunately they were on the paperwork i let go with the engine as that had all the bottom end balancing info on it too.

they did say they had taken as much off as they safely could and you can see where the material has been removed too.

ok here we go,

one of the face, notice the dowels still intact naturally

and one of the back, you can see where the material was taken off as the metal is alot brighter and has surface rust on it, also notice the notch on the right on the ring gear where material was taken off to balanced it.
