Car had covered just over 97k! I'm located in Bournemouth, but should be able to courior for around £40!

Not sure if they did cable change ones for a polo? Its one with 2 small rods to change gear..

they did do a cable change on the mk4, the <97 models had a rod change mechanism, and the 97< had the cable change

however, looking at the pics it looks like i can see the mechanism for the cable change on this box!

I call them rods, as they're not like the cable changes you get on golfs etc. But yeah cool, its cable...

jus wanna say thanx mate fitted 2day feels good jus guna get new cable tuesday 2 make it feel proper good again. definatley recommended people easy to deal with ;) cheers

What vehicle was this removed from a 8v or 16v and whats the difference if any. Cheers

This is off a p-reg, 1.4 8v. Not sure the differences, probs just the clutch size and ratio would have thought, bound to have a thread on here about it..
