Coilpacks, MAF

Rust - sills, tailgate, doors, arches etc - Mk4 golfs are fairly prone to it for what isn't that old a car

Lots of interior wear - crappy plastic coatings

Electric window faults, in fact, electrics in general

I wouldn't pay the asking price either...

i wouldn't pay that either.

find someone with Vagcom and a laptop, do a fault scan when you're there, if anything rocks up then money off or a decent reason to walk away.

gutless engines, wallowy suspension. oh wait, thats standard stuff

ensure it has had the waterpump changed for the uprated metal one, and a new cambelt :-)

there has been no record of the cambelt being done. and its on 75k, surely they need changing at 60k.

i gave my old vagcom cable to poloace a while ago. is anyone with vagcom free tomorrow morning in the croydon/norbury area?
