seen an idea on a few other forums and websites so thought id post a topic on here.

Clup Polo t-shirt design competition

all the creative designers out there, come up with a t-shirt design in relation to club polo. after all designs are posted, cast a vote on which design is best then get the design produced for all to wear at the polo show '09 and other meets

feedback highly appreciated..

well i was going to leave the judging down to the club polo forum members..get top 5 designs maybe, then create a poll and winning design goes into production.

i would be in charge of production and the higher demand for the t-shirts, the cheaper the price obviously :-D

Also...whoever's design is chosen will receive 2 free t-shirts

So get designing and telling your friends about this opportunity

Thats a good point actually. Face to a username.

The only way you'll be allowed to use the clubpolo name will be if you donate some of your profits to the club in the form of beers for all members at poloshow.

We pay to be part of the club and to make poloshow happen.

If someone's gonna make money off the club name, it's only right that we have a share! :)

Why doesn't the winners design get handed over to the club and they make the t shirts and that way the profit goes into the club

i agree about the donation to the club. if only some of you knew how much the show costs the club!

These T shirts gunna be replacing the ones that are for sale in the Shop section??

Surely a cheaper way, although not very original is to just customise the the club polo shirt available in the shop already,

couple of problems with doing the forum name on t-shirts is that the cost will be high, as you wont get them cheaper from buying in bulk..

however, maybe we could put the forum user who has the winning design's name placed on t-shirt so everybody could appreciate their skills..

No offence but I'd want a t-shirt, not a signed work of art! It's hard enough already knowing who's who without everyone having the same name on their tee!

I'd suggest discussing your plans with the admin team 1st before creating anything as panda says, you need permission to use the words club polo or the logo.

Its not expensive to get stuff put on a T shirt..... Cost me £5 to get something put on the front and back before.

£5 x number of t-shirts = expensive. Ask Panda. he's just got a quote for the high viz vests for polo show!

Simple solution, anyone who wants a tee, buy a 3pound black polo shirt from asda or primani, get it written yourselves with the winners design! Job done on cost to the club whatsoever!
