Just ordered a set of 16'' wheels for my 6N2 GTI

I'm looking for a set of Coilovers but DO NOT want a harsh ride at all. I realy want to get the car ready for the polo show.

My budget is £400 but have no idea where to start.

i think your going to struggle to find some coilovers that dont make the ride 'harsh'

there designed to be stiff & responsive so your going to get some degree of discomfort compared to standard suspension & regular shocks and springs [even there a bit harsh in some cases]

unless your going to track the car, in my opinion you should jsut settle with a cheap option if its purely for looks. for this sort of level coilies are for slamming & making things stiff, not for comfort or performance really

But all that is purely my opinion, iv never come across any car with coilies where iv sat in it & been like 'wow this ride is smooth!' & thats not jsut vws, I'm on about 200sx's, skylines etc with non budget coilies

i guess its what you class as a harsh ride, try KW, Weitec, FKs are reasonably priced aswel at bout £250 i think?

yeah better off with lower springs or sumit, coilovers are stiff and if your running 16's your not gonna be getting as low anyway
