Wow.

Just a phenomenal road!

Doesn't need to be thrashed down to appreciate it.

Must be the best road in the Derbyshire area!

I really envy people who live in Buxton, Macclesfield, Matlock and all the surrounding places!

i wouldnt mind driving down this. how does it compare to snakes pass

haha, it's ten times better if you do trash it though!

The best time I've been on it was on a sunday morning at about 8am, no traffic what so ever. Last time was when I got some new tyres fitted to my g40 at Ears Motorsport which is on the end of the C&F, so I decided to do a couple of passes to bed the tyres in ;)

It's commonly known as one of the best driving roads in the country (que a load of scottish people saying they have a million better ones). It's better than snake pass because the tarmac is nicer and smoother and it's more open so you can see further for traffic (and sheep!), it's very, very twisty too.

The only reason I'm m8s with G40 AD is cos he lives at the top of buxton road, just so i can drive to his house

We all had a meet up there at the pub last year, maybe we should arrnge another?

It would be quite good if we get more cars than last time to go up

Jake

I'm keen for that......

Seconded hahaha!

Love this road, had a few arse clinching moments a few weeks ago when i spilt tyre shine all over the tread on the front wheels and then drove it an hour after it had rained. struggling to hold 15mph round some of the bends lol!

And yes I'm from Macc so envy me!

race jay ;)

Just crashed me car mate, no front end left haha. Doubt ill be racing for a little while!

C&F is a good road but its even better when you are coming from Congleton via Bosley cross roads!

The road from Bosley crossroads leading to the C&F is proetty on par with the C&F road if a little bumpy at times.

x2 :(

haha i had my manifold glowin on this road

mint

full of coppers n speed cameras tho

been down it with our lass before, she's from macc, not drove it meself tho yet!

Its a nice road, although it gets very busy with tourists. There are plenty of roads that are just as good nearby. Never go above the speed limit there though, the police are there in helicopters a lot, especially if the weather is nice.

Edit: Oh yeah, profile picture was taken on The Cat & Fiddle. :)
