Its a nice road, although it gets very busy with tourists. There are plenty of roads that are just as good nearby. Never go above the speed limit there though, the police are there in helicopters a lot, especially if the weather is nice.

Yeah, the place is littered with decent roads. Didn't really get my foot down because I went in the Golf, which doesn't really like hills. I wish I could have gone in the Lotus but the bloody thing is always broken.

C&F is a good road but its even better when you are coming from Congleton via Bosley cross roads!

The road from Bosley crossroads leading to the C&F is proetty on par with the C&F road if a little bumpy at times.

Drove it a few weeks back its fun but police are everywhere. also noticed a lot of skidmarks heading off into ditches etc.

Yeah!, it's known as one of the most dangerous roads in england because of all the fataliies of bikers. Apparently if they bdidnt take into account bike crashes etc it would be one of the safest!

I used to pretty much live in congleton as well, so cat & fiddle got driven alot. Awesome road.

And now I live in Sheffield, so have snakes pass to play on. got resurfaced a while ago too, so it's even better. Quite a few roads round here are fun, around matlock and places... Not when it's busy mind. Soo annoying when people don't know how to take over

Tell me about it, we're being taken over by tourists at the moment = 20mph everywhere. They don't seem to realise other people actually have things to do and places to be!
