Well for a mk4 Golf 2.0 GTI I been getting quotes for around £1600 with few mods, 18 years (Soon 19 :>) 1 year driving, 0 everything else...

also what do you expect at 18 ? them to insure you for free?

16v or 8v? wouldnt bothere even looking at an 8v, seat ibizas are lighter with the same engines and lower insurance group.

just got £1116 fully comp. 1990 mk2 1.8gti 16v.. I'm 22 wit 3years ncb.. manchester postcode (pick car up on saturday cant wait :-D )

paying £1000 at the mo on 1.3polo 6n wit lowering and wheels, (being riped off) would be £400 as a standard car.
